Most outages restored; please call if still without power

Nearly all CREC outages have been restored in both the Luther area and around Carney. Service to most of the members still without power yesterday was restored by 11:30 p.m. Wednesday night. There are still isolated outages and we ask members who still may not have service to call CREC at 1-800-375-2884 or 405-372-2884 and report the problem.

It has been a difficult week for our members in the southern part of our service area, but we do appreciate the patience and understanding you have shown as our crews worked in difficult conditions to repair and rebuild our system. Thank you again for your messages of thanks and encouragement to our line crews and all of our employees.

To report an outage:

Call CREC at 1-800-375-2884 or 405-372-2884 to report an outage.

Provide CREC with your name and the name on the account, map location number or account number and the telephone number where you can be reached.

Also, be sure to make CREC aware if any person at your outage location has a medical condition that will be affected by an extended power outage. It may be necessary for you to relocate a person who is ill until CREC has the power restored.
