Pre-Paid Service Plan

The pre-paid service plan offers the participating member further control of their connection status by regulating their usage in a ‘pay as you go’ fashion.

Pre-paid service is available to all residential members as an option subject to the following provisions:

a.     The member’s account must be currently paid in full when participation commences.

b.    The member must pay all applicable fees and equipment charges prior to commencement of the service.

c.     Account location installation must be a 3 wire, 240 volt (form 2S meter) with full automatic meter reading capabilities.

A member desiring pre-paid service shall make a request to the Cooperative to be enrolled in said program. The Cooperative then will allow enrollment into pre-paid service if the member meets the eligibility requirements listed above. Finally the account will be monitored on a frequent basis and any account with a debit balance is subject to immediate disconnection.

A bill schedule is calculated each month using the applicable rate and the applicable adjustments appropriate for that month.

A full settlement of the account shall be made when participation in the pre-paid plan terminates for any reason.
