STANDARD RATE SCHEDULE: GENERAL SERVICE TIME-OF-USE Rate TOU 10
     
AVAILABILITY: Available for any type of industrial or medium commercial use, at any point within the Cooperative’s certified area, having a maximum demand not in excess of 50 kW, taking single-phase or three-phase service supplied at one point of delivery and measured through one kilowatt-hour meter (unless otherwise specified by contract) and subject to the Terms and Conditions of Service of the Cooperative.

ON-PEAK: $0.191000 per kWh
    OFF-PEAK:$0.083400 per kWh


DETERMINATION OF ON-PEAK/OFF PEAK HOURS:
 
The on-peak hours, upon which the on-peak energy charge is based, shall be the hours from 3:00 p.m. through 9:00 p.m., for the period beginning July 1 and continuing through September 1; and from 6:00 a.m. through 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. through 10:00 p.m. for the period beginning December 1 and continuing through March 1.  All other hours are classified as off-peak hours.
 
MINIMUM MONTHLY CHARGE:
 
The minimum monthly charge shall be the minimum monthly charge specified in the contract for service, but not less than $75.00.

POWER FACTOR:
 
The Member agrees to maintain unity power factor as nearly as practicable.  The Cooperative reserves the right to measure such power factor.  Should such measurement indicate that the monthly average power factor is less than ninety percent (90%), the total kWh usage for billing purposes shall be the total kWh usage as indicated or recorded by the meter multiplied by ninety percent (90%) and divided by the present power factor.
 
CONDITIONS OF SERVICE:
 
Contracts under this rate schedule shall be one year.  It is understood that the member will not be permitted to transfer to another power schedule during the twelve-month contract period. Nor can they discontinue service for temporary shutdowns.
