STANDARD RATE SCHEDULE: STREET LIGHTING SERVICE Rate 14
     
AVAILABILITY: Available upon request by any commercial, community, or municipal organization within the    Cooperative’s service area.
     
TYPE OF SERVICE: 100 watt High Pressure Sodium lights.  
     
MONTHLY RATE:   Each
  One (1) to ten (10) lamps $8.65
  Eleven (11) to fifty (50) lamps $7.40

For wooden poles required for street lights, in addition to existing distribution line poles, a charge of $3.00 per pole per year shall apply.  An additional $1.25 per lamp per month will be charged on lamps installed on metal poles.
 
CONDITIONS OF SERVICE:
 
1.     Street lighting equipment, including lamps, fixtures, controls and the necessary street lighting circuits, transformers and additional guys and fittings, will be furnished and maintained by the Cooperative.
 
2.     Lamp replacements will be made by the Cooperative without additional charge, except that any damage to lamps and luminaries resulting from vandalism shall be charged to the Member at cost as a separate item on the monthly bill for service.  Outages should be promptly reported.
 
3.     Service will be furnished for future additional lamps connected to existing overhead secondary circuits in accordance with the above charges.
 
4.     This schedule applies to either multiple or series street lighting circuits.  The Cooperative will determine the type of circuit.
 
5.     Charges for annual use will be billed monthly during the lighting season in equal installments.
 
OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE:
 
The Cooperative shall own, operate, and maintain the thoroughfare street lighting system.  Upon receipt of notice from the municipality of failure of light to operate, the Cooperative shall make repairs or replacement within a reasonable time during regular working hours and favorable weather conditions.
 
BURNING SCHEDULE:
 
The standard schedule shall be for dusk to dawn service, and shall include approximately 4,000 hours of service per year.
