The Central Rural Electric Cooperative Foundation recently awarded a $1,000 grant to the Perkins First United Methodist Church Neighborhood Ministries.
Neighborhood Ministries has been in operation for 22 years. Currently, the ministry distributes foods to those in need the first and third Tuesday of each month. Recently, the ministry has been helping an average of 75 families each Tuesday.
