Good luck to Madison Krehbiel and Benjamin Beck who leave Saturday, June 15, along with fellow Oklahoma high school students, for the Electric Cooperative Youth Tour to Washington, D.C.

Former CREC board Trustee Dean Mackey, of Mulhall, passed away this week at the age of 92. Mackey represented CREC District 4, including parts of Logan, Payne, Noble and Garfield counties, on the cooperative’s board from 1973 until 2004.

The Smart Energy Symposium for business energy users, held Thursday, May 22, drew a good crowd to hear some of the industry’s top energy management experts and see cutting-edge technologies to control energy costs. The symposium, a unique utility industry and business community partnership, was co-sponsored by Smart Energy Source and the Stillwater Chamber of Commerce.
