CREC members and employees endured a difficult week following Sunday’s devastating tornado that left 2,600 without power. More than 170 power poles were broken and several miles of distribution line were rebuilt in just three days.

What Oklahomans have experienced in the last few days is impossible to put into words. We know that tornados are a fact of life in this part of the country, and we prepare as best we can.

The CREC Foundation encourages all those affected by Sunday's tornado to apply for a Foundation disaster grant. Both members and nonmembers living in the CREC service area may apply for a grant.
