Central Rural Electric Cooperative members are now able to determine the effect temperature plays on their energy use by using MySource Meter. MySource Meter is an online application developed by CREC to help members monitor their daily use and take control of their energy bills. Through MySource Meter, members are able to view their daily and monthly energy use, and how it is related to temperature.

Nearly $1 million given back to members in patronage capital
Margins of the cooperative are assigned back to Central Rural Electric Cooperative members annually based on their electric purchases from the cooperative. These margins are known as patronage capital and this process is what classifies a cooperative as a nonprofit.
